Dear reader,
I have finished reading Masterpiece By Elise Broach. It is a great book that will keep you excited. I t is about a stolen art piece.
There was once a beetle name Marvin. He had a big family and live in the Pompaday's apartment in New York City. The Pompaday's had a son named James. He was not cared about unless he did something extraordinary. On his 11th birthday, he got a ink set from his dad (He had a step-dad. This was his real dad, and he liked him more.) who is a artist. On the night of James' birthday, Marvin went into James' room and saw the ink set. The lid was open, so he decided to draw what was outside the window.
When he finished it was almost morning. James saw the drawing and he was amazed. He saw Marvin and he knew he drew it. When his mom came in she saw the picture and said it was beautiful. She thought James drew it and she was bragging about him to her clients. Then when James' dad saw it, he took James (Marvin was in James' sweater)and the picture to a museum and showed it to the owner. The owner wanted James (or Marvin) to copy a picture because there was four pictures in the set and three was stolen. They have the remaining one. Marvin copied it and then the owner set a plan to sell it in the black-market and the person who has the rest will take it( Because who doesn't want a set?). They will have a tracking device on the matting of the picture.
When they sold it they noticed it was the real one and Marvin followed it by grabbing on to the picture. Then it arrived at the person's apartment which turned out to be James' dad's friend! Marvin figured a way to tell James and they got all four pictures back safely back to the museum. This book is based off a real story but the characters are fake.

Dear Alexander,
ReplyDeleteyour blog was very interesting. i enjoyed reading it. you make faboulus blogs. I hope you write more and comment on mine too.
now for some questions. Did you love that book? how much do you rate it? What do you think about it? Is it very mysterious? Why or why not?
from itay.
Dear Itay,
ReplyDeleteOf course I will write more( This is homework!)! I really like this book in the beginning, but towards the end it gets a little boring but enough to keep you reading. Overall, I like this book, and I would rate it 4.5 stars out of 5. This is because it gets a little boring in the end.
The book isnot very mysterious. When I first started reading, I knew it was the museum owner, but it was James's dad's friend whonalso worked in the museum. Hope that anwsers all your questions!

Dear Alexander,
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your rj. How was this based a real story ?and I doubt its a mystery book. Ever since its real can you give me a link to it?
From your friend,
Lucky
Dear Lucky,
ReplyDeleteThank you! I do not know how this is based on a real story. In the book it said that the FBI and police do not work together well. This is a mystery book by what it says on the spine of the book. Can't you just search the book on Google? By the way, real nice grammer.

Dear Alexander
ReplyDeleteCool gun you have posted. What is it? Is it real?
Anyways I really liked your Rj! I always read your because there awesome. This one was interesting.I also have a few questions to ask you.
About how much was the painting worth?
If it doesn't say then how much do you think its worth? Why? Is Daniel a better artist then Marvin? Was it just a typo when you wrote off?
And that's pretty much it. Sorry for making you type a lot. (for writing "why" it always make the sentence worse).
Sincerely
Samuel
Dear Samuel,
ReplyDeleteThe gun is NOT real and it is a shotgun. The painting is worth half a million dollars, and I don't know who Daniel is unless you are talking about the daniel in our class then yes, I think Marvin is a better artist than Daniel. Lastly, I don't know what typo you are talking about.
